Copilot
The Copilot is a chat assistant built into your dashboard that can set up parts of your account for you — add a product, write a knowledge-base answer, fix a business detail — instead of you filling in the screens yourself. It only takes the specific actions listed below, it always shows you what it's about to save before saving it, and almost everything it does can be undone from the Activity view for a limited time. The Copilot may not be available on your account at all, and only Admins can use it when it is.
What it can do
Ask the Copilot to:
- Add a product.
- Add a bookable service (only if Appointments is enabled on your account).
- Fill in business-profile fields that are currently blank — description, website, phone, address.
- Correct a business-profile field that already has a value.
- Rewrite your bot's instructions.
- Add a question-and-answer to your Knowledge Base.
- Add a checkout question (only if Checkout is enabled on your account).
It cannot delete anything and cannot bulk-edit. For anything outside this list — including deleting a product or bulk-editing prices — use the regular dashboard screen.
Where to find it
A floating button opens the Copilot from almost any screen in the dashboard, except the Messages screen and the Copilot's own page. On a wide screen it opens as a side panel; on a phone it opens as its own full page.
You only ever have one conversation with the Copilot at a time. Starting a new one — or choosing to restart — ends whichever conversation was open, and discards anything you had typed into an open form but not yet saved.
What it can see
The Copilot works from a snapshot of your account, not your full records: your 10 most recently created products, services and Knowledge Base entries. It may honestly tell you it doesn't see something that exists further back in your catalogue. It never sees your customers, their conversations, or their orders.
Reviewing what it saves
Before it corrects a business-profile field or rewrites your bot's instructions, the Copilot always shows you a before-and-after comparison — it never overwrites something you already wrote without asking first. Filling in blank fields is different: if a field already holds any value, the Copilot skips it, even if you asked it to fill in everything.
Adding a FAQ or checkout question at the same time
When the Copilot's form for a new product or service opens, it also offers two optional extra sections in the same form — a Knowledge Base question-and-answer about the item, and a checkout question tied to it. Fill in either, both, or neither; they save together with the product or service in one submission.
Photos and video
The Copilot can't receive a file through the chat itself — you attach photos and video by picking them yourself in the form it opens. One conversation can hold at most 10 files waiting to be attached at a time, and only JPEG, PNG or WebP photos and MP4, MOV or WebM video are accepted.
Things worth knowing before you ask for something
- Categories aren't created for you. The Copilot can only file a new product under a category you already have. Create the category on the Products screen first.
- Duplicate Knowledge Base questions are refused. If you ask for a question that already exists (even with different capitalization), the Copilot won't add a second one — edit the existing entry instead. Two near-identical entries would compete for the same customer question, and the bot could answer with whichever one happens to rank higher.
- A new service needs your business hours. A service the Copilot creates is booked against your regular business hours by default. If you haven't set those yet, the service is still created, but nobody can book a time until you do.
- A billing-locked account can't save through the Copilot. If your account is locked, the Copilot can't save anything — including undoing something it saved earlier — until you add a payment method. You'll be told the account is locked rather than having the save silently fail.
- A conflicting edit blocks the save. If a record the Copilot is about to save was changed elsewhere in the meantime — by you in another tab, or a teammate — the save is refused and you're shown what the record currently holds, so nothing gets silently overwritten.
Undoing something the Copilot did
Anything the Copilot saves can be undone from the Activity view within 24 hours. After that, the window closes. Undo is also refused inside the 24 hours once the thing it created has actually been used — a Knowledge Base answer that already matched a customer's question, or a checkout question a customer has already answered on a real order. In those cases, remove it yourself from its normal screen (Knowledge Base, or the checkout screen) instead, since undoing would also erase the customer's own data.
If the conversation isn't loading
The setup checklist the Copilot shows you — what is still unconfigured on your account — keeps working even when the conversation itself is temporarily unreachable. It is computed live from your account's own records, so it stays accurate while the chat is down.
Getting help from inside the Copilot
The Copilot has its own Help tab where you can file a support ticket — choosing a category like technical issue, billing question, or feature request — without leaving the conversation. You get a ticket number back on screen once it's sent.
