Service Management

Defining Your Offerings​

For businesses that provide services, the Service Management section is where you define, organize, and manage all your service offerings. This enables your ReadyChatAI bot to accurately discuss services, provide relevant information, and facilitate bookings or inquiries.

Service Dashboard​

The Service dashboard provides an overview of all the services your business offers. Each service can be customized with the following fields:

  • Service Name: The title of the service (e.g., “Haircut”, “Legal Consultation”, “Home Cleaning”).
  • Category: Organize services into groups (e.g., “Hair Services”, “Legal Services”).
  • Duration: How long the service typically takes.
  • Price: The base cost for the service.
  • Description: A detailed description of what the service includes.
  • Add-ons (optional): Additional items the customer can choose (e.g., “Shampoo”, “Express Delivery”).

💡 Tip: Well-written service descriptions help the AI better understand and promote your offerings.

Adding a New Service​

  1. Navigate to the Service Management tab in your admin dashboard.
  2. Click “Add Service”.
  3. Fill in the required details:
    • Name
    • Category
    • Duration
    • Price
    • Description
    • Add-ons (optional)
  4. Click Save to publish the service.

How the AI Uses This​

Once your services are set up, the AI will:

  • Reference your services in conversations
  • Answer questions about service duration, cost, or availability
  • Upsell add-ons when appropriate
  • Link customers to your booking flow (if available)

  • A Salon might add:

    • Service Name: “Haircut”
    • Duration: 30 minutes
    • Price: $40
    • Description: “A stylish haircut from one of our expert stylists.”
    • Add-ons: Beard Trim, Shampoo

  • A Law Firm might add:

    • Service Name: “Initial Consultation”
    • Duration: 1 hour
    • Price: Free
    • Description: “Discuss your legal issue with one of our licensed attorneys.”
