Service Management
Managing Your Service Offerings
The "Service Management" section is where you define, organize, and manage all your service offerings. This enables your ReadyChatAI bot to accurately discuss services, provide relevant information, and facilitate bookings or inquiries.
Path: Commerce & Services > Service Management
The Service Management page showing metrics, tabs, and the services table.
Service Metrics
At the top of the page, a Service Metrics section displays four summary cards with a date range picker:
| Metric | Description |
|---|---|
| Total Services | Total number of services created, with % change vs. previous period |
| Recently Added | Services added within the selected date range |
| Active Services | Services currently available for customers |
| Inactive Services | Services that have been deactivated |
Use the date range picker to view metrics for specific periods. Each card shows the count, a time label (e.g., "This Month"), and percentage change.

How the AI Uses Your Services
Once your services are set up, the AI will:
- Reference your services in customer conversations
- Answer questions about service duration, cost, or availability
- Suggest relevant add-ons when appropriate
- Link customers to your booking flow (if Redirect to Booking Page is enabled)
Integration with Other Features
- Appointments: Services define what customers can book. See Appointments for managing bookings.
- Checkout Questions: Service-specific questions configured in Checkout Questions (Service tab) are asked during the booking process.
- Configure: Enable the "Redirect to Booking Page" feature in Configure to let customers book services through a visual calendar.
Best Practices
- Write Detailed Descriptions: The more detailed your service info, the smarter the AI responses will be
- Keep Types Organized: Use clear, descriptive type names that reflect how customers think about your offerings
- Assign Providers: Ensure each service has at least one provider assigned for accurate scheduling
- Review Regularly: Deactivate services you no longer offer and update pricing as needed
