Manage a WhatsApp Sequence and Read Its Results
Pause, stop, duplicate, add people, and see which message gets replies

Change, pause or stop a sequence
- Draft: use Edit draft or Delete draft.
- Active: you cannot change the messages or settings. Press Duplicate to get a copy as a new draft, without people or permission confirmation, and edit that one.
- Add people from CSV (Active or Paused): adds new people without replacing anyone. People already in the sequence are skipped, even if they finished or left.
- Pause: nothing new is sent. Resume runs the checks again; messages that came due while paused go out next, inside the sending hours.
- Stop: everyone still receiving messages leaves the sequence. A stopped sequence cannot be resumed.
A problem on any one message, such as number quality, payment or a paused template, pauses the whole sequence. The reasons are the same as for a campaign: see Why did my campaign pause by itself?. If a template's variables changed in WhatsApp Manager, press Update message fields, fix them and resume.
Sequence statuses

| Draft | Not started. Nothing is sent. |
| Active | People are receiving messages. |
| Paused | Paused by you or by a problem. Nothing is sent. |
| Completed | Nobody is left receiving messages. |
| Stopped | You stopped it. It cannot be resumed. |
Reading the results
At the top: People added, Still receiving, Finished all messages and Overall response rate (people who left after replying, divided by people added).
- How far people get: for each message, how many people reached it and how many replied to it.
- Results by message: Sent, Delivered, Read, Failed, Replied, Response rate (replies divided by sent; a dash means nothing was sent yet), Opted out and Reached the goal. A reply or an exit is counted on the last message the person received before leaving.
- Why they left: They replied; They asked to stop receiving marketing; They reached the goal; A message could not reach them; You stopped the sequence; Their phone number is not valid; They had already received marketing.
The people in a sequence
The People table lists each person with their Progress (Still receiving, Left the sequence, Finished all messages), the Last message received, why they left, and Next message from (the earliest time their next message can go out). Filter by progress, by why they left or by last message received, and press Export CSV to download the list.
FAQ
Can I edit a sequence that is already running? No. Duplicate it, edit the copy and start the copy.
Someone replied. Will they get the next message? Not while Stop sending when the person replies is on.
Why didn't a message go out at the exact time? It was outside your sending hours or days, within 20 hours of another marketing message to that person, or the daily limit was reached. It goes out at the next opening.
Do sequences appear in the Campaigns tab? No. They have their own tab.
