WhatsApp Campaigns and the Leads Pipeline

Message the leads of one stage, and put campaign recipients on a pipeline

Path: Leads, and Communication > Mass sending

Mass sending connects with the Leads board in two ways: you can send a campaign to the leads in one stage, and a campaign can place the people it reaches on a pipeline. This page is part of WhatsApp Campaigns.

Send a campaign to the leads in one pipeline stage

On the Leads board, open the menu of a stage column and choose Send message. A window titled Message the leads in that stage opens:

  1. Check the Campaign name, choose the Template and fill its variables.
  2. Under Who receives it, choose Only those who haven't written in the last 24 hours (selected by default) or Everyone in this stage.
  3. Press Review and send.

Nothing is sent yet. This creates a normal draft campaign and opens it in Mass sending, where you confirm permission, review the pre-send checks and start it like any other campaign.

Only leads in that stage whose conversation is on the WhatsApp number that sends are included. Send message is available to Administrators on accounts with Mass sending enabled. If you see You need an approved WhatsApp template first, follow Go to Mass sending.

Add campaign recipients to a pipeline

If your account has pipelines for sales, the campaign form shows More options > Add recipients to a pipeline. Choose a pipeline, or leave Don't add to a pipeline.

People who receive the campaign and are not in any pipeline yet start in that pipeline's first stage. People already in a pipeline are not moved. After saving, the campaign shows the chosen pipeline under Pipeline in Campaign setup. You can only choose it while the campaign is a draft.

If you do not see More options, this is not enabled for your account.
